EXPERIENCE

Here’s a list of employment, activities, interests, and unique events that have shaped my life and perspective. These are listed in an order that’s mostly chronological with random info thrown in here and there.

CoronaDoc Program

(Founder and Administrator) – CoronaDoc was developed during the pandemic to provide objective, non-judgmental presentations to businesses, service clubs, churches, schools, and other organizations about coronovirus and vaccines. The program, conducted by Zoom presentations, gave participants the opportunity to hear directly from volunteer medical doctors and ask questions (versus relying on information from television, social media, friends, etc.).

CoronaDoc protocols were approved and endorsed by San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH), but it was agreed that all presentations were confidential. No participant information was shared with SJBPH to encourage participation and protect privacy. This program was independent of all government or health agencies and not involved in regulations or enforcement.

Fairgrounds Vaccination Volunteer

(Parking Team Captain) – This was my favorite ten weeks of 2021! I was blessed to be a volunteer with more than 200 other citizens for ten Saturdays (January – March, 2020) to operate a free, community coronavirus vaccination program. More than 7,000 members of our community were innoculated as a first step of recovery and a return to life as we love it in La Plata County.
